3.0 beta 2 has been Jailbroken

Today Chris Stroud creator of RedTool announced and gave a picture of his 3.0b2 ipod touch 2g jailbroken, he will not be releasing it for a while and as of right now Icy is pretty much the only app compatible,but not for long.

Quickfreedom issues

I was just notified that Quickfreedom does have some issues (LibUsb, Pre-Jailbreak, and possibly Creating Custom Firmware) and i recomend the Quickpwn Beta over it. But if you think you can solve these problems or try to get around them here;s his site: http://quickfreedom.com/ 

3.0 Firmware

I'd recomend really not messing around with the 3.0 firmware if your not registered as a Dev, I've read of problems that occured and it just seams like to much to get into when u could just wait a couple months and get the stable and legal version.

Quickpwn beta for the Ipod Touch 2g has been released.

Today 2 minutes past Beta O'Clock the Iphone Dev Team released the beta for Quickpwn thats compatable with the ipod touch 2g. I havent yet used it because my ipod is already jailbroken but ive read the reviews and it seems very useful.
